Purpose

RoundRobin flow moves the messages delivered to the selected email folder of a user mailbox to its subfolders using so called round robin algorithm.

The product is a Power Automate (MS Flow) template.

Current version: 1.0.0.1

Installation

  1. Create or select a user mailbox. Create 3 subfolders under Inbox: sub1, sub2 and sub3.
     
  2. Install the flow using the file RoundRobin1001.zip.
     
  3. Select "Inbox" in the "Folder" field of "When a new email arrives (V3)" trigger. Click three dots and select Options. Turn off the button "Split On". Click the "Done" button.

  4. Save the flow.

   You can select any other "root" folder instead of Inbox and any amount of its subfolders. Also, you can name subfolders as you like.
 

 

Testing

  1. Send 6 email messages with subjects "Test 1","Test 2", "Test 3","Test 4", "Test 5","Test 6" to the mailbox.
     
  2. In a minute make sure that the messages are moved from Inbox to the subfolders as shown on the topmost picture.
