Updated:
6 April 2023
Purpose
WebSiteWatchDog checks periodically if a website returns the status code 200 (OK) or something else. If the status code changes, the flow sends an email notification to its owner.
The flow doesn't require the premium "HTTP" action — it uses a workaround described in the Power Platform community forum.
It also saves the status retrieved in the previous iteration in the open extension.
Current version: 1.0.3
Installation
- Download the "WebsiteWatchDog3.zip" file.
- Open Power Automate and import "WebsiteWatchDog3.zip" as a new flow, following the Power Automate documentation.

- Enter the URL of the website to monitor in the "WebSiteURL" variable.

- Turn on the flow.

Testing
- Verify that the flow is running.
- Verify that you have received a notification message in your mailbox similar to the following.
