Purpose

ToggleRules add-in for Outlook allows you to enable or disable multiple rules at once. You have 2 set of rules: RuleSet1 and RuleSet2. Each set can contain any number of rules.

The application is a COM add-in. It can work only with classic desktop Outlook for Windows.

It cannot work with new Outlook for Windows.

If you see File on the top of the screen, you are using classic Outlook. If not, you are using either new Outlook, or a version on the web.

Installation

On a client workstation where Outlook is installed download ToggleRulesSetup.zip archive file and extract all files to C:\Program Files\IvaSoft\ToggleRules directory.
Exit Outlook in case it is running, run ToggleRulesSetup.exe and follow the instructions.
Start Outlook and click File > Options > Add-ins. Select "COM add-ins" in the Manage: list box (at the bottom of the page) and click the Go button. Make sure that ToggleRules is in the list and it is checked.

Testing

Run Outlook and click a small arrow in the lower right corner of the "ToggleRules" group in the Explorer ribbon. ToggleRules options window will appear.
Check any rules in the "Unassigned Rules" list and move them to the "RuleSet1" list using the "<" button. Click the "Disable All" button under the list "RuleSet1".
Check any rules in the "Unassigned Rules" list and move them to the "RuleSet2" list using the ">" button. Click the "Disable All" button under the list "RuleSet2". Click the Close button to exit ToggleRules options.
Mark the checkbox "RuleSet1" in the "ToggleRules" group in the Explorer ribbon. Make sure the rules of the RuleSet1 are running.

Uninstallation

Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and features. Select ToggleRules in the list. Right-click and hit Uninstall. Follow the instructions.

What is the difference between the trial version and the registered version?

The trial version allows you to place 3 or less rules to each rule set.

The registered version allows you place any number of rules to the rule sets.

How can I upgrade from the trial version to the registered one?

Open ToggleRules options window and click the Register button. "Register ToggleRules" will appear. If you know your Registration Name and Registration ID, populate appropriate fields and click the Close button. Note that "Version X.X.X.X (registered)" is shown in the status line. In case you haven't got the registration info, click the "Order Online" button.
