This add-in automatically substitutes the From address when you reply to or forward a message sent to the distribution list.
In other words, when a member of the distribution list replies to such a message, the default sender address will be set to the distribution list address.

The application is a COM add-in. It is compatible only with classic desktop Outlook for Windows.
It is not compatible with the new Outlook for Windows.
Installation
- Download the SendAsDL-DEMO.zip archive file.
- Run SendAsDLSetup_per-user.exe.
- Verify that SendAsDL appears in the Active Application Add-ins list.
Testing
Let's suppose you are a member of the distribution list TestDL1@domain.com.

Send a test email to TestDL1@domain.com.
- Make sure the email is delivered to your Inbox. Click the "Reply" button. Check if the reply has TestDL1 as the From address.
- Do the same using the "Reply All" button.
- Do the same using the "Forward" button.
We have tested SendAsDL with Outlook 2019/2021/365 and Windows 10/11.
Uninstallation
You can uninstall SendAsDL using the "Programs and Features" tool.
About this demo version
The SendAsDL demo version adds the "SendAsDL DEMO VERSION" phrase to the Subject line of each message with a modified From address.
