Purpose
In Microsoft 365, each group has automatic reply settings. However, there are some disadvantages with this native method:
- You have to run Exchange Online PowerShell to set auto-reply.
- An auto-reply message is sent to the address specified in the From: field of the original message. It ignores the Reply-To: address if one is present.
- The body of the auto-reply message does not include the original message text.
- You cannot modify the prefix "Automatic reply:" in the Subject line.
The AutoReplyGroup flow has the following features:
- An auto-reply is sent to the Reply-To: address if present, or to the From: address otherwise.
- The subject line of an auto-reply message consists of the customised prefix ("Confirmation:", "Autoreply:", etc.) and the subject line of the original message.
- The body of an auto-reply message may include the original message text.

Installation
- The flow uses three connections: "Microsoft 365 Outlook", "Microsoft 365 Groups", and "Microsoft 365 Groups Mail". Use your existing connections or create new ones when prompted.

- Open Power Automate and import "autoreplygroup2.zip" as a new flow, following the Power Automate documentation.

- Select the Microsoft 365 group in the field "Group ID" of the trigger. Save the flow.

- Turn on the flow.

Limitations
This flow is designed to auto-reply to the messages received by a Microsoft 365 group. The account you use to run the flow must be a member of the group and must have permission to send as the group.
