Purpose

In Outlook for Windows, when we reply/reply all to the email with attachments, the attachments are not available and we have to add them manually.

A lot of people want to retain attachments when they reply or reply to all.

This add-in allows you to reply to a message and include the original attachment.

ReplyWithAtt does not add any new buttons on your Outlook toolbar. It just changes the behavior of standard Reply button and Reply All button buttons.

The application is a COM add-in for Outlook.

Installation

On a client workstation where Outlook is installed download ReplyWithAtt-Demo.zip archive file and extract all files to C:\Program Files\IvaSoft\ReplyWithAtt directory.
Exit Outlook in case it is running, run ReplyWithAttSetup(DEMO).exe and follow the instructions.
Start Outlook and click File > Options > Add-ins. Select "COM add-ins" in the Manage: listbox (at the bottom of the page) and click Go button. Make sure that ReplyWithAtt is in the list and it is checked.

Testing

Select any message with attachment in your Inbox. Click "Reply" button.

A warning message will appear. Click Cancel to close it.
Note the reply message contains the attachment from the original message.
Do the same test using "Reply All" button.

Uninstallation

Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and features. Select ReplyWithAtt in the list. Right-click and hit Uninstall. Follow the instructions.
