CustomMeetingRequest is an add-in for classic Outlook desktop (Windows) that provides an ability to use a customized default meeting request template.

When a user creates a new meeting request, the template will appear.

The application is a COM add-in. It can work only with classic desktop Outlook for Windows.

It cannot work with new Outlook for Windows.

If you see File on the top of the screen, you are using classic Outlook. If not, you are using either new Outlook, or a version on the web.

Installation

Download CustomMeetingRequest-DEMO.zip archive file to any folder on your workstation. Extract all files, then run CustomMeetingRequestSetup.exe and follow the instructions.
Run Outlook. Select File > Options > Add-ins and make sure that CustomMeetingRequest exists in "Active Application Add-ins" list.
Create a shared mailbox "SharedTemplates". Open its default calendar and create a new meeting request. Place "CustomMeetingRequest" to the Title field. Modify the body as you like and save the meeting request. Now it will be used as a template.
In Exchange Admin Center navigate to the "SharedTemplates" mailbox. Assign "Read and manage" righths to every user mailbox that will run the template.

Testing

Open Outlook and create a new meeting request. Make sure that the template is used to populate the body of request.

Uninstallation

Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and features. Select CustomMeetingRequest in the list. Right-click and select Uninstall. Follow the instructions.

About this demo version

This demo version adds the "CustomMeetingRequest (DEMO)" tag to the Title line of each meeting request processed.

A Site license covers a single organization in one location (building complex). You may use the program on an unlimited number of computers within this area.
An Enterprise license covers all computers in a single organization worldwide. If your company has multiple branches or thousands of machines, the enterprise license covers them all.
If you are using Outlook on Windows Terminal Services or Citrix, you should purchase 10 licenses per Citrix/TS server or a Site license.
