Purpose
When a member of a distribution list replies to or forwards a message sent to that list, this add-in automatically sets the From address to the distribution list address.

The application is a COM add-in compatible only with classic desktop Outlook for Windows. It does not support the new Outlook for Windows.
Installation
- Download and extract SendAsDL-DEMO.zip, then run SendAsDLSetup_per-user.exe and follow the instructions.
- Open Outlook, go to File > Options > Add-ins, and verify that SendAsDL appears in the Active Application Add-ins list.
Testing
Suppose you are a member of the distribution list TestDL1@domain.com.
- Send a test email to TestDL1@domain.com.
- Once the email arrives in your Inbox, click Reply and confirm that TestDL1@domain.com appears as the From address.
- Repeat the check using Reply All and Forward.
SendAsDL has been tested with Outlook 2019, 2021, and 365 on Windows 10 and 11.
Uninstallation
You can uninstall the add-in via Settings > Apps ("Installed Apps" in Windows 11, "Apps & features" in Windows 10).
Demo Version Notes
The demo version adds SendAsDL DEMO VERSION to the subject line of each message with a substituted From address.
