ForwardUsingLocalTimezone flow

Purpose

When using the "Forward an email" action in a flow, the email's original received time is shown in UTC instead of the local time zone, which can cause confusion for users.

The ForwardUsingLocalTimezone flow solves this problem.

Installation

1. Run Power Automate and create the "Office 365 Outlook" and the "Office 365 Groups" connections (if you do not have them yet):
   
2. Create a new automated cloud flow named ForwardUsingLocalTimezone. Select "When a new email arrives (V3)" trigger of the "Office 365 Outlook" connector.
3. Select the "Inbox" folder in the "Folder" field of the trigger.
4. Create a Compose action and name it Parameters. Populate the "Inputs" field as shown below.
   
5. 1. Download scope_forwardusinglocaltimezone.txt and open it in Notepad. Click Edit > Select All, then Edit > Copy.
   2. In Power Automate click the plus sign under the "Parameters" action. In the "Choose an operation" dialog, select "My Clipboard". Press Ctrl+V.
   3. Click on the "Scope ForwardUsingLocalTimezone" control.
   
   
6. Save the flow.
7. Turn on the flow.
